Anthony L. Pavia IV was born on May 21, 2009. At only 8 weeks old he was diagnosed with Microcephaly and numerous other life threatening brain abnormalities which affect the parts of his brain that control vital life function. Anthony has a feeding tube, and also requires oxygen. Anthony is registered with the Commission for the Blind, and auditory testing is ongoing. Anthony sees a team of specialists throughout CNY and Boston’s Children’s Hospital. Anthony’s mother resigned from her full-time position in order to facilitate his care. Anthony has faced many challenging medical obstacles in his short life. During Anthony’s last hospital stay, things took a turn for the worst, and he was read his last rites. The miracle that he is, he fought back, and two weeks later, was able to return home. Anthony is an inspirational little angel who has brought so much love and joy into the lives of all who have encountered him. We are unsure what the future will hold and ask that you join us in the fight for his life. As the complexities of Anthony’s needs increase, we are hoping this benefit will provide the family with the necessary means to offer Anthony the best quality of life possible. We ask for your help in making this happen.
